Whew, I finally got a chance to finish my slip-up socks. I've decided they are going to my mom for her birthday at the beginning of December, so I don't know if I'll knit something or purchase something for her for Christmas. I liked this pattern because it was super easy to pick it up and know exactly what row of the pattern I was in. These are the kind of patterns a person needs when three weeks can pass between rows! I uploaded a couple more photo angles on Flickr. Sorry for the dark pictures, now the sun goes down at 5:30 and that's my usual knitting time.
