Hi, here's a quick weekend update.

I finally got around to buying handles and lining fabric for the cable purse from a free pattern at knitpicks. It was my first cabling project and it was a really quick knit. I made the middle cable alot thicker than the one in the original pattern because I was having too much fun.



The fabric is some cute pawprint stuff I found at Hobby Lobby. I am not very happy with the handles so if I decide to it will be easy to replace them with something else. I originally wanted some plastic black handles or clear ones, I think the wood makes it seem kind of old-fashioned.



Hope everyone is having a good weekend. I had fun at the Vista last night and look forward to my next opportunity to have a black cherry koolaid (my birthday! yay!).
